5K RUN / WALK
Benefitting: Unified Committee for African-American Contributions & St. Mary's Caring Soup Kitchen

REGISTRATION:

 

Register ONLINE. T-shirts guaranteed to the first 75 entrants.
You may also register on race day from 7:00 to 7:45 am

 

ENTRY FEE:

 

$20 pre-registered; $25 on race day.

EVENT:

 

Race or walk 5K (3.1 miles) on a mostly flat course (USATF Certified MD12011JS) in Lancaster Park, through the disc golf course and on the paved loop around the ball fields.

LOCATION:

 

Lancaster Park, 21550 Willows Road, Lexington Park.
Start/Finish at the pavilion at the end of Coral Drive, near the first tee of the disc golf course.

PARKING:

 

Parking at Lancaster Park, or on Coral Drive near the pavilion.

5K AWARDS:

 

Top male and female overall, and top three males and females in each age group.

DIVISIONS:

 

Male and Female 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+

Post-race refreshments and awards at the Coral Drive pavilion.

Note to Walkers:

 

Although there is no separate category for walkers, you’re eligible for awards as long as you complete the 5K distance on foot – walking, jogging, or a combination of both.

 
 

*Please, no pets, bicycles, skateboards, skates, or rollerblades.

Stick around afterward for the Juneteenth Festival beginning at Noon!
Enjoy a family day at the park with live jazz, African dance, gospel singing, food and vendors, exhibits, children’s games and activities, and more!
Admission is free! 12-8 pm
